Below we explain which personal data are processed when you visit the AIREX® online shop and place an order.

2. Hosting and server log files

The shop is hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Espelkamp, Germany. Technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser, operating system, referrer) are processed to deliver the website and ensure its security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and deleted after [[OFFEN: 14 days]].

3. Cookies and consent

We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. shopping cart, session, language). Other cookies and external content are only used with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give via the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings”.

4. Orders and customer account

To process your order we process your name, address, email, phone number (optional), order and payment data (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). A customer account is optional; guest orders are possible. Order and invoice data are retained for up to ten years due to commercial and tax law obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

5. Address validation, payment and shipping

Addresses are validated using Endereco UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany. Payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, which may perform a credit check for direct debit or “Pay later”. For delivery we pass your name and address to the shipping company [[OFFEN: DHL / GLS]]; your email or phone number only with your consent.

6. Emails and newsletter

We send order and shipping confirmations to fulfil the contract. You only receive our newsletter after registering and confirming (double opt-in, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can unsubscribe at any time.

7. Embedded content

YouTube videos (Google Ireland Ltd.) and maps (Mapbox Inc., USA) are only loaded after your consent. Data may be transferred to the USA; the providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Switzerland (Airex AG) is covered by an EU adequacy decision.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
